My keynote, Laughing Through Rejection, reveals how humor can transform life’s universal setbacks into tenacity and forward momentum. Audiences leave inspired, energized, and with a healthier relationship to failure.

Before bringing these lessons to audiences, I spent decades chasing my Hollywood ambitions—writing, performing stand-up, and working in theater, television, and film. Hollywood is fertile ground for public humiliation. And boy, was my time there fruitful.

Those experiences—and my refusal to quit—became my personal battle cry to keep going. I have these stories because I didn’t let rejection win. Now my goal is to help others do the same.
